A1 Team Monaco was the Monaco, Monegasque team of A1 Grand Prix, an international racing series. Management On 29 August 2008, it was announced that A1 Team Monaco would be competing in season four. The joint seat holders were Hubertus Bahlsen, and former F3 and GP2 driver Clivio Piccione – who also acted as the race driver. Clivio Piccione
Clivio Piccione (born February 24, 1984, in Monte Carlo, Monaco) is a Monaco, Monégasque race car driving, driver. He raced in the 2005 GP2 Series season for the Durango team and David Price Racing for 2006 GP2 Series season, 2006. Career Piccione's career started in karting in 1997, where he stayed until 2001 before moving up to British Formula Ford. He only spent one season there, debuting in British Formula 3's B-Class in 2002 for the T-Sport team. 2003 saw him move up to the main class with the Manor Motorsport, Manor team, where he won the a race at Knockhill. For 2004, he joined Carlin Motorsport and won two races at Donington Park. In 2005 the Monegasque driver drove in the inaugural GP2 Series season, driving for the Durango team, winning the sprint race at the 2005_Nürburgring_GP2_Series_round, Nürburgring round. The 2008–09 A1 Grand Prix of Nations, China was an A1 Grand Prix race, held at Chengdu Goldenport Circuit, Chengdu, People's Republic of China. All proceeds from this race were donated to the Sichuan Earthquake Relief Fund, following the earthquake which devastated the region in May 2008. Drivers After missing the first race due to a lack of cars, A1 Teams Great Britain, India and Mexico took part in this race. Both A1 Team Pakistan and A1 Team Germany will not make their season debut until the fourth round at Taupo. Team Pakistan require more changes to their chassis to render it suitable for their lead driver Adam Khan, while Team Germany is undergoing management restructuring.
