A. Duval was an artist and engraver active in France from 1769 to 1801. Works Duval's earliest known work is a highly detailed watercolor of a dungeon, signed and dated 1769. A later watercolor of a dungeon is signed and dated 1773. A drawing of a "design for the top and side of an oval, enamelled, gold, neo-classical snuffbox," at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, bears an identical signature and the date 1770. Engravings of Duval's depictions of French furniture were published by in Paris, c.1770.Thieme, p. 238. His engravings of architectural studies by (also called Boucher ''fils''), published by around 1775, include a stylized and dated signature "ADUVAL fecit 1774" with conjoined letters A and D. Antoine-Denis Chaudet
Antoine-Denis Chaudet (; 3 March 1763 – 19 April 1810) was a French sculptor who worked in the neoclassical style. He was born and died in Paris. Life and work He began his artistic training as a student of Jean-Baptiste Stouf at the Royal Academy of Painting and Sculpture. In 1784 his bas-relief, ''Joseph Sold into Slavery by His Brothers'', was awarded the Prix-de-Rome. This enabled him to study at the French Academy in Rome, where he spent four years studying ancient sculpture. On his return to France in 1789, he was admitted to the Royal Academy of Painting and Sculpture. In 1801 he took part in illustrating an edition of the collected works of Jean Racine, published by Firmin Didot. Most of these were Biblical scenes. Around that same time, he married one of his students, Jeanne-Elisabeth Gabiou. He also collaborated with Pierre-François-Léonard Fontaine and Charles Percier on architectural projects. François Gérard
François Pascal Simon Gérard (, 4 May 1770 – 11 January 1837), titled as Baron Gérard in 1809, was a French painter. He was born in Rome, where his father occupied a post in the house of the French ambassador, and his mother was Italian. Jean-Guillaume Moitte
Jean-Guillaume Moitte (11 November 1746, Paris – 2 May 1810, Paris) was a French sculptor. Life Moitte was the son of Pierre-Etienne Moitte. He became the sculptor of Pigalle then Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne. He won the Prix de Rome for sculpture in 1768 with ''David carrying the head of Goliath in triumph''. He then entered the École royale des élèves protégés before a stay at the Rome, though it was cut short due to illness. He worked for the king's goldsmith Auguste and participated in decorative works for monuments in capital. He was commissioned to produce sculptures of generals who had died in battle such as one of Custine for the musée de Versailles, the tomb of Louis Desaix at Grand Saint-Bernard or that of Leclerc at the Panthéon de Paris.
