A. Chellakumar
Dr. A. Chellakumar is an Indian politician and Member of parliament. He was elected to the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly as an Indian National Congress (INC) candidate from Anna Nagar constituency in the 1991 election and as a Tamil Maanila Congress (Moopanar) candidate from T. Nagar constituency in the 1996 election. He was unsuccessful in winning the Villivakkam constituency in 2001. In the 2011 election he attempted once again to gain the T. Nagar seat. His candidacy in 2001 was as a TMC(M) member and in 2011 it was for the INC. He was runner-up on both occasions. Although he had joined the TMC(M) breakaway group in 1996 when factionalism beset the INC due to a decision to ally with the All Indian Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam in the state, Chellakumar subsequently fell out with TMC(M) founder G. The Fourteenth Legislative Assembly Election was held on 13 April 2011 to elect members from 234 constituencies in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Results were released on 13 May 2011. 2019 Indian General Election
General elections were held in India in seven phases from 11 April to 19 May 2019 to elect the members of the 17th Lok Sabha. Votes were counted and the result was declared on 23 May. Around 912 million people were eligible to vote, and voter turnout was over 67 per cent – the highest ever, as well as the highest ever participation by women voters until 2024 Indian general election. Digvijaya Singh (born 28 February 1947) is an Indian politician and a Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha since 2014. He is a senior leader of the Indian National Congress and Ex-General Secretary of the Indian National Congress party's All India Congress Committee.
