Mohammed Shahabuddin (born 10 December 1949) is a Bangladeshi jurist, journalist, civil servant and politician who has served as the 16th and current president of Bangladesh since 2023. He was elected unopposed in the 2023 Bangladeshi presidential election, 2023 presidential election as the nominee of the Ruling party, ruling Awami League. Satya Prasad Majumder is a Bangladeshi academic. He served as 14th vice-chancellor of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology during 2020–2024. Education Majumder attended Chandpur Government College.
