Stadio (literally, ''Stadium'') is an Italian pop rock band formed in 1977. The members are Giovanni Pezzoli (drums), Roberto Drovandi (bass guitar), Andrea Fornili (guitar), and Gaetano Curreri (vocals and keyboard). Formation and early recordings The group had a long-standing arrangement as an accompanying band to Lucio Dalla, a Bologna-born singer. Stadio had its first notable public appearance in the mid-1970s, when the group appeared on Lucio Dalla's 1975 collaborative album with Roberto Roversi, '':it:w:Anidride Solforosa (album), Anidride Solforosa'' (Italian for "sulfur dioxide"). Stadio Artemio Franchi (Florence)
The Stadio Artemio Franchi is a football stadium in Florence, Italy. It is currently the home of ACF Fiorentina. The old nickname of the stadium was "Comunale". When it was first constructed, it was known as the ''Stadio Giovanni Berta'', after Florentine fascist Giovanni Berta. The stadium was officially opened on 13 September 1931 with a match between Fiorentina and Admira Wien (1–0), though it took until 1932 for the stadium to be completely finished and currently holds 47,282. The architect is Pier Luigi Nervi (known for the Nervi Hall in the Vatican) and it is one of the most relevant examples of 20th-century architecture in the city. It hosted some of the matches of the 1934 World Cup, as well as football preliminaries for the 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome. In 1945, it hosted the Spaghetti Bowl between American service teams. Adriano Lombardi
Adriano Lombardi (7 August 1945 – 30 November 2007), nicknamed , was an Italian football player and coach, mostly known for his time spent at Avellino. Career Lombardi played as a midfielder with many teams, in particular Perugia, Como and Avellino. In November 2007, at the age of 62, he died of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, in Mercogliano. In his honour, the number 10 Avellino jersey, worn by Lombardi during his time for the "''lupi''", has been retired. On 9 June 2011, Avellino's Stadio Partenio was dedicated to Lombardi. 2021–22 Serie D
The 2021–22 Serie D was the seventy-third season of the top level Italian non-professional football championship. It represents the fourth tier in the Italian football league system. Rules The season will provide a total nine promotions to Serie C (those being the winners of all nine groups). Teams placed between second and fifth for each group will play a so-called "playoff tournament", starting with two one-legged games played at the best placed team's home venue: * 2nd-placed team vs 5th-placed team; * 3rd-placed team vs 4th-placed team. In case of a draw by the end of the game, two extra times will be played; in case of no winner after that, the best-placed team will advance to the final. Giarre () is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Catania, Sicily. The town is located about southeast of Palermo and around north of Catania.
