A.S.D. Pro Romans
Associazione Sportiva Dilettantistica Pro Romans, or simply Pro Romans, is an Italian association football club located in Romans d'Isonzo, Friuli-Venezia Giulia. It currently plays in Promozione Friuli-Venezia Giulia. In 2012, it merged with ''A.S.D. Medea'' to form A.S.D. Pro Romans Medea. History The club was founded in 1921 as A.S. Pro Romans (it will become A.S.D. in 2004/05 for fiscal reasons), even if in 1916 the "Club Footbalistico Romans" was already present. The new Romans football reality was founded in the rooms of the "Al Leon d'Oro" restaurant in via Latina, the historic seat of the association, under the help of the owners of the same, the brothers Giorgio and Alberto Candussi, while as the first president of the newborn was Attilio Dessabo, popularly known as "Tilio Bocul". Coppa Italia Dilettanti
The Coppa Italia Dilettanti ( Italian for: Italian Amateurs Cup) is an annual knock-out competition for teams from the fifth and sixth levels of Italian football: the Eccellenza and the Promozione. All ties except for the final, which is held at the Stadio Flaminio in Rome, are played on a home-and-away basis. The cup-winners are also awarded promotion to Serie D, the fourth-ranked league. Prior to the 1999–2000 season the competition also included teams from Serie D. Promotion And Relegation
In sports leagues, promotion and relegation is a process where teams are transferred between multiple divisions based on their performance for the completed season. Leagues that use promotion and relegation systems are often called open leagues. In a system of promotion and relegation, the best-ranked team(s) in the lower division are ''promoted'' to the higher division for the next season, and the worst-ranked team(s) in the higher division are ''relegated'' to the lower division for the next season. In some leagues, playoffs or qualifying rounds are also used to determine rankings. The Soča ( in Slovene) or Isonzo ( in Italian; other names fur, Lusinç, german: Sontig, la, Aesontius or ') is a long river that flows through western Slovenia () and northeastern Italy (). An Alpine river in character, its source lies in the Trenta Valley in the Julian Alps in northwestern Slovenia, at an elevation of . The river runs past the towns of Bovec, Kobarid, Tolmin, Kanal ob Soči, Nova Gorica (where it is crossed by the Solkan Bridge), and Gorizia, entering the Adriatic Sea close to the town of Monfalcone. The Serie D () is the top level of semi-professional football in the country. The fourth tier of the Italian league system, the competition sits beneath the third professional league, Serie C. It is administered by the Lega Nazionale Dilettanti and is organized by the Roman ''Comitato Interregionale'' (Interregional Committee), a "league in the league" inside the LND. Tarcisio Burgnich (; 25 April 1939 – 26 May 2021) was an Italian football manager and player, who played as a defender. Enzo Bearzot (; 26 September 1927 – 21 December 2010) was an Italian professional football player and manager. A defender and midfielder, he led the Italy national team to victory in the 1982 FIFA World Cup. Nicknamed ''Vecio'' (standard Italian ''vecchio'', 'old man'), Bearzot coached the Italy national team the most (104 times, between September 1975 to June 1986).
