A.M.A.N. (TV Series)
A.M.A.N., was a Greek television parody show and the natural continuation of another TV show called ''Comfuzio'' that was aired by ERT3 in the early 1990s. A.M.A.N began after the death of their friend and broadcaster Antonis Pararas and the capital letters translates the word "Αντώνη Μας Άφησες Νωρίς" which means "Antonis you left us early". A.M.A.N. began in May 1997 at Mega Channel, but only 9 episodes were aired. Since October 1997 and up until 2000, the show was broadcast by ANT1 Antenna, better known as ANT1, is a free-to-air television network airing in Greece. MEGA Channel, also known as MEGA TV or just MEGA, is a television network in Greece, that broadcasts a mix of foreign and Greek programming. It is the first and the oldest private television network in Greece. History Mega Channel (1989–2018) Mega is the first private television station to launch in Greece on 20 November 1989 and was the trade name of Teletypos S.A. (Τηλέτυπος A.E.) The channel regularly achieved the top ratings spot in Greece through its varied programming including comedies, dramas, news, current affairs and entertainment shows. The alternate spelling is wordplay in Greek; ''ena'' (ένα) is the Greek number ''1'' (one), thus ''ANT1'' is pronounced the same as ''Antenna'' (Αντέννα). ERT3
ERT3 (, "ERT Tria") is a Greek free-to-air television channel owned and operated by state-owned public broadcaster Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation (). It is an entertainment channel, and although it broadcasts nationwide, most of its content is aimed at Northern Greece. It mainly broadcasts from Thessaloniki with regional studios in various north cities, including Florina, Komotini, Alexandroupoli and on the islands of Paros, Lesbos (Mytilene) and Samos.
