9th Term Sejm And 10th Term Senate Of Poland
The 9th term Sejm and the 10th term Senate was the legislature of the Poland, Republic of Poland following the 2019 Polish parliamentary election held on 13 October 2019 which returned 460 deputies to the Sejm and 100 senators to the Senate of Poland, Senate. The Parliament of Poland held its inaugural meeting on 12 November 2019. Its term ended on 12 November 2023. Sejm And Senate Complex Of Poland
Sejm and Senate Complex () are a complex of buildings located in central Warsaw, which house the bicameral Polish parliament – the Sejm and Senate of Poland. The construction of the complex began after Poland regained its independence in 1918. The expansion of the complex continues to the modern-day, with a new building under construction since 2014. All of the buildings part of the complex are managed by the Chancellery of Sejm. Buildings Main Sejm building Sejm Meeting Hall The Meeting Hall was constructed between May 1925 and March 1928, designed by Kazimierz Skórewicz. Except for the Belgian marble used to cover the inner walls, all other construction materials originate from Poland. Deputy Marshal of the Senate of the Republic of Poland () is one of the Polish Senators in the upper house of the Polish parliament who serves as the deputy of the Senate Marshal (speaker). An independent politician or non-affiliated politician is a politician not affiliated with any political party or Bureaucracy, bureaucratic association. Jakub Kulesza
Jakub Kulesza (born 12 November 1990) is a Polish politician and a former Member of Parliament. Kulesza studied electronics, computer science and telecommunications at the Warsaw University of Technology. He was employed in enterprise computing. Kulesza organized the youth wing of the Real Politics Union, which operated until 2009. Since 2010, he is associated with KoLiber, serving as president from 2012 to 2013. Confederation Freedom And Independence
The Confederation Liberty and Independence (, KWiN), frequently shortened to just Confederation (), is a far-right political alliance in Poland. It was initially founded in 2018 as a political coalition for the 2019 European Parliament election in Poland, although it was later expanded into a political party in order to circumvent the 8% vote threshold for coalitions to enter the national parliament. Polish Coalition
The Polish Coalition (, KP) is a political alliance in Poland. It is led by the Polish People's Party. It was formed in 2019. In the 2019 parliamentary election, the Polish Coalition placed fourth, winning 30 seats in total. Its 2020 presidential candidate was Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, who placed fifth in the first round. The coalition adheres to principles of Christian democracy, and conservatism. The coalition also adhered to agrarianism, but the Polish People's Party has since then shifted away from this ideology. Ryszard Iwon Terlecki (born 2 September 1949) is a Polish politician, the Parliamentary Caucus Head of the Law and Justice party between 2015–2023. The parliament of Poland is the bicameral legislature of Poland. It is composed of an upper house (the Senate) and a lower house (the Sejm). Both houses are accommodated in the Sejm and Senate Complex in Warsaw. The Constitution of Poland does not refer to the Parliament as a body, but only to the Sejm and Senate. Members of both houses are elected by direct election, usually every four years. The Sejm has 460 members, while the Senate has 100 senators. To become law, a bill must first be approved by both houses, but the Sejm can override a Senate refusal to pass a bill.
