The 9th Strategic Reserve Corps (Ukrainian: ''9 армійський корпус;'' 9 АК) is an active formation of the Ukrainian Ground Forces, formed for the 2023 Ukrainian counteroffensive. 2023 Ukrainian Counteroffensive
In early June 2023, during the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Ukraine launched a counteroffensive against Russian forces occupying its territory with a long-term goal of breaching the frontlines. Efforts were made in many directions, primarily in Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia oblasts, among others. Planning for a major Ukrainian counteroffensive had begun as early as February 2023, with the original intention being to launch it in the spring. In April 2023, two sets of Internet leak, leaked Classified information, classified foreign intelligence documents of the United States began circulating on Twitter, Telegram (software), Telegram, and 4chan. The 3rd Separate Assault Brigade () is a brigade of the Ukrainian Ground Forces formed in 2022. The brigade was established by a merger of the Azov SSO ( Special Operations Forces) units that had been created by former Azov Battalion veterans.
