The 9th Corps, Turkish Land Forces, is a field corps. The corps headquarters is located in Erzurum, and the corps is part of the Third Army (Turkey). It is deployed along Turkey's eastern boundary. The 4th Corps is a field corps of the Turkish Land Forces. Its headquarters is in Ankara, and it is directly responsible to the Commander of the Land Forces (as of 2023). It was established in the Ankara area in 1966. In 1974, it appears to have been part of the Second Army. Erzurum Province () is a province and metropolitan municipality in the Eastern Anatolia Region of Turkey. Its area is 25,006 km2, and its population is 749,754 (2022).
