9 (Alice Nine Album)
''9'' is the fifth studio album by Japanese visual kei rock band Alice Nine. The album was officially released on February 22, 2012. ''9'' was released in two formats: a limited edition with an exclusive DVD and a regular edition. The DVD included with the limited edition of the album features a music video for "すべてへ", as well as a multi-angle version of the music video focusing on one of the five members of the band and a making-of documentary for the music video. The album was preceded by three singles: "Blue Flame", released in August 2011, and "Heart of Gold", released in September 2011 and finally Niji no Yuki on 21 December 2011. After the release, the band embarked on four tours of Japan entitled Alice Nine "Court of '9'" #1-4. So far they have completed the first two of these tours with relative success in all areas of Japan, managing to sell out in many medium-to-large venues nationwide. Alice Nine
is a Japanese visual kei rock band formed in Tokyo in 2004. They were a part of PS Company until 2014. The band had King Records as its record label until 2010, when they joined Tokuma Japan. Then, in 2013, the band joined Universal Music Group's Nayutawave Records. They shortened their name to A9 in 2015, but switched back to Alice Nine in 2019. In 2023, Alice Nine announced that they would be going on a indefinite hiatus from September 3, following a last tour that began in May. Alice Nine has released six full-length records, some of which were distributed in Europe by CLJ Records, along with several EPs, singles, and DVDs. Alternative Rock
Alternative rock (also known as alternative music, alt-rock or simply alternative) is a category of rock music that evolved from the independent music underground of the 1970s. is a publisher in Japan, headquartered in Shinagawa, Tokyo. The company was established in 1954 by Yasuyoshi Tokuma in Minato, Tokyo. The company's product portfolio includes music publishing, video game publishing, movies, anime, magazines, manga and books. Visual Kei
, abbreviated , is a category of Japanese musicians that have a strong focus on extravagant stage costumes that originated in Japan during the early 1980s.
