7plus (also stylised as 7+) is a video on demand, catch-up TV service run by the Seven Network. The service became available on 27 November 2017. 7plus also offers online live streaming of Channel 7, 7two, 7mate, 7Bravo, 7flix, Racing.com and 7Sport. 7plus is available across several platforms including Web, iOS and Android apps, FreeviewPlus certified TVs, Apple TV 4th Gen+, Fetch TV, Telstra TV, Chromecast, Android TV, Samsung TV, Sony Linux TV, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Seven Sport
Seven Sport is the brand and production department under which all sporting events on the Australian Seven Network#Sport, Seven Network are broadcast. It broadcasts some of Australia's most prominent sporting events, such as the Australian Football League, AFL and Cricket in Australia, cricket, as well as Thoroughbred racing in Australia, horse racing and motor racing. Seven Network (stylised 7Network, and commonly known as Channel Seven or simply Seven) is an Australian commercial free-to-air Television broadcasting in Australia, television network. It is owned by Seven West Media, Seven West Media Limited, and is one of the five main free-to-air television networks in Australia. The network's headquarters are located in Sydney. As of 2014, it was the second-largest network in the country in terms of population reach. 7mate is an Australian free-to-air digital television multichannel, which was launched by the Seven Network on 25 September 2010. The channel contains sport and regular programs aimed primarily to a male audience, with programming drawn from a combination of new shows, American network shows and other shows previously aired on its sister channels Seven, 7two and 7flix. Due to the rebroadcast of 7HD on 10 May 2016, 7mate was reduced to a standard definition broadcast in Melbourne and Adelaide. Sydney, Brisbane and Perth instead received a HD simulcast of 7mate until December 2016, with breakaway programming used from that point to broadcast AFL matches in HD while keeping 7HD as the primary channel simulcast. 7flix is an Australian free-to-air digital television multichannel, which was launched by the Seven Network on 28 February 2016. 7flix targets a variety of viewers and offers drama, comedy, reality, docusoap, and movies. History On 18 December 2015, a test pattern began broadcasting on channel 76, reading "New Channel Coming Soon". Seven acknowledged the broadcast, and director of programming, Angus Ross, formally announced on 1 February 2016 that Seven was launching a new channel, and more details would be released soon. During the ad-break of miniseries '' Molly'' on 7 February 2016, Seven announced that channel 76 would be named ''7flix'', and would be launched on 28 February 2016. 7Bravo is an Australian free-to-air digital television multichannel, which was launched by the Seven Network under license from NBCUniversal International Networks on 15 January 2023. The channel contains programming from NBCUniversal's American networks, including Bravo, E! and Oxygen, along with entertainment and talk show programming from NBC and its American broadcast syndication division. History On 25 October 2022, it was announced that Seven would be launching a new channel, 7Bravo, on 15 January 2023, featuring content from NBCUniversal, timing with the announcement of the wind-down of Foxtel's domestic version of E! on 31 January 2023 at the end of their NBCU output deal. Fetch TV is an Australian IPTV provider that offers a subscription television service over a user's regular internet connection. It is majority owned by Telstra, who acquired a 51.4% stake in the company on the 2nd of August 2022. Fetch TV was initially launched in July 2010 by Malaysian Astro Malaysia Holdings. Fetch TV provides a set-top box with a digital TV tuner, a personal video recorder, and up to 45 subscription channels.
