Seven Network (stylised 7Network, and commonly known as Channel Seven or simply Seven) is an Australian commercial free-to-air Television broadcasting in Australia, television network. It is owned by Seven West Media, Seven West Media Limited, and is one of the five main free-to-air television networks in Australia. The network's headquarters are located in Sydney. As of 2014, it was the second-largest network in the country in terms of population reach. Seven Network shows various nonfiction shows—such as news broadcasts (''Seven News'') and sports programming—as well as fiction shows. In 2011, the network won all 40 out of 40 weeks of the ratings season for total viewers, being the first to achieve this since the introduction of the OzTAM ratings system in 2001. As of 2024, Seven Network is the highest-rated television network nationally, in Australia, ahead of the Nine Network, ABC TV (Australian TV channel), ABC TV, Network 10 and SBS (Australian TV channel), SBS. Free-to-air (FTA) services are television (TV) and radio services broadcast in unencrypted form, allowing any person with the appropriate receiving equipment to receive the signal and view or listen to the content without requiring a subscription, other ongoing cost, or one-off fee (e.g., pay-per-view). TNT (Australian TV Station)
TNT is an Australian television station, TV station based in Launceston, Tasmania, owned by Southern Cross Austereo. Originally broadcasting to northern Tasmania, it has broadcast to the whole of Tasmania since aggregation of the Tasmanian television market in 1994. History TNT-9 was founded as Northern TV Ltd and broadcast in Launceston and Northern Tasmania; the first day of operation was on 26 May. In 1965, TNT-9 became a part of ENT Ltd (Examiner-Northern TV Ltd). By 1980, TNT-9 adopted a custom version of the Nine Network's "9 Dots" logo. TVSN
TVSN (an acronym for "Television Shopping Network") is an Australian and New Zealand broadcast, cable television and satellite television network specialising in home shopping. It is owned by parent company Direct Group Pty Ltd, a home marketing and shopping company based in the Sydney suburb of Frenchs Forest, which also owns sister channel Expo. The channel broadcasts live every day from 08:30 to 21:30 AEST. History TVSN began broadcasting on 4 December 1995 from the North Ryde studios owned by Global Television (originally owned by Channel 10 Sydney) as The Value Channel. 7flix is an Australian free-to-air digital television multichannel, which was launched by the Seven Network on 28 February 2016. 7flix targets a variety of viewers and offers drama, comedy, reality, docusoap, and movies. History On 18 December 2015, a test pattern began broadcasting on channel 76, reading "New Channel Coming Soon". Seven acknowledged the broadcast, and director of programming, Angus Ross, formally announced on 1 February 2016 that Seven was launching a new channel, and more details would be released soon. During the ad-break of miniseries '' Molly'' on 7 February 2016, Seven announced that channel 76 would be named ''7flix'', and would be launched on 28 February 2016. Seven Regional WA is an Australian Television broadcasting in Australia, television network serving all of Western Australia outside metropolitan Perth. It launched on 10 March 1967 as BTW-3 in Bunbury, Western Australia, Bunbury, and became known as the Golden West Network (GWN, and later GWN7) in 1979.
