Statute Law Revision Act 1948
The Statute Law Revision Act 1948 ( 11 & 12 Geo. 6. c. 62) is an act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. Section 5(3) of the Statute Law Revision Act 1950 provided that this act, so far as it repealed chapter 34 of the Statute of Westminster 1285 ( 13 Edw. 1. St. 1. c. 34), was to be deemed not to have extended to Northern Ireland. Section 1: Enactments in schedule repealed Section 1 of the act provided, amongst other things, that the enactments described in schedule 1 to this act were repealed, subject to the provisions of this act and subject to the exceptions and qualifications in that schedule. Section 1 of the act was repealed by group 1 oPart XVIof Schedule 1 to the Statute Law (Repeals) Act 1993. Civil Procedure Acts Repeal Act 1879
The Civil Procedure Acts Repeal Act 1879 (42 & 43 Vict c 59) is an Act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It is a public general Act. The Bill for this Act was the Civil Procedure Acts Repeal Bill. This Act was repealed by section 1 of, and the First Schedule to, the Statute Law Revision Act 1958. This Act was repealed for the Republic of Ireland by section2(1)anof, and Part 4 oto, the Statute Law Revision Act 2007. Section 7 of the Statute Law Revision and Civil Procedure Act 1883 provided that if and so far as any enactment repealed by this Act applied, or may have been by Order in Council applied, to the court of the county palatine of Lancaster, or to any inferior court of civil jurisdiction, such enactment was to be construed as if it were contained in a Local and Personal Act specially relating to such court, and was to have effect accordingly. Littlehampton is a town, seaside resort and civil parish in the Arun District of West Sussex, England. It lies on the English Channel on the eastern bank of the mouth of the River Arun. It is south south-west of London, west of Brighton and east of Chichester. The parish covers an area of . The suburban area of the town has a population of approximately 55,000. The conurbation includes other settlements: Wick in the north west; Lyminster to the north; and Rustington to the east. The Metropolitan Borough of Bermondsey was a Metropolitan boroughs of the County of London, Metropolitan borough in the County of London, created in 1900 by the London Government Act 1899. The Statute Law (Repeals) Act 2013 (c. 2) is an act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom which repealed the whole of 817 acts of Parliament, and portions of more than 50 others. It is a square number, the smallest semiprime and composite number, and is considered unlucky in many East Asian cultures. Evolution of the Hindu-Arabic digit Brahmic numerals represented 1, 2, and 3 with as many lines. 4 was simplified by joining its four lines into a cross that looks like the modern plus sign. The Shunga would add a horizontal line on top of the digit, and the Kshatrapa and Pallava evolved the digit to a point where the speed of writing was a secondary concern. The Arabs' 4 still had the early concept of the cross, but for the sake of efficiency, was made in one stroke by connecting the "western" end to the "northern" end; the "eastern" end was finished off with a curve.
