5th Lux Style Awards
The 5th Lux Style Awards ceremony was held in Expo Center in Karachi, Pakistan. The show was hosted by Shaan Shahid, Meera and from the members of BNN. The show had the performances by Mehreen Raheel, Faisal Qureshi, Ali Zafar, Faisal Rehman, and Mehreen Syed. Some of the film and music categories were removed from the award. Karachi Expo Centre
Karachi Expo Center is the convention center where Pakistani products are showcased internationally. The center consists of 6 halls. The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan also helps support the exhibitions at the center. IDEAS exhibition Pakistani military arms and equipment exhibitions are held under the theme 'IDEAS' (International Defence Exhibition and Seminar). This is a four-day exhibition. 'My Karachi' exhibition Since 2003, 'My Karachi' themed exhibitions are held annually at Expo Center Karachi where companies and traders of Karachi as well as foreign exhibitors market their products. Talat Hussain (actor)
Talat Hussain Warsi (18 September 1940 – 26 May 2024) was a Pakistani actor and radio host. The son of Shaista Begum, who was one of the pioneering voices of Radio Pakistan, he was called "the Pakistani Laurence Olivier" for his versatility and his later role as mentor to other actors. Early life and education Talat Hussain was born in Delhi, British India on 18 September 1940, his parents moving to Karachi soon after partition, where his mother Shaista Begum joined Radio Pakistan as a broadcaster.
