6 Hours Of Fuji
The 6 Hours of Fuji (formerly the Fuji 1000 Kilometres) is a sports car race held at Fuji Speedway in Oyama, Shizuoka, Japan. The race was held for the first time in 1967, and in 1977 became part of the new Fuji Long Distance Series. In 1982 a second 1000 km race known as ''WEC in Japan'' was run as a round of the World Sportscar Championship. The All Japan Sports Prototype Championship was formed in 1983, and since then co-sanctioned this event. The World Championship left after 1988, but the JSPC carried on both races until 1992. The race was revived in 1999 as an attempt to gauge interest in an Asian Le Mans Series; the series never materialized. Keiko Ihara (井原 慶子, ''Ihara Keiko'') (born July 4, 1973) is a Japanese race car driver. She was a former race queen, a model who appears in a swimsuit or other fashionable apparel at race circuits, before deciding to become a racing driver. She is one of the few Japanese women nationals to race internationally at a high level. Her best finishes in the British Formula Three Championship are two 8th places finishes in 2005, which helped her to a final championship standing position of 16th with 12 points. Fabian Schiller (born 24 May 1997) is a German racing driver who currently competes in the Nürburgring Endurance Series. Career Junior formula Schiller began his racing career in karting at the age of 12, competing in the ADAC Kart Masters series. In 2012, he began competing in single-seater formula cars, taking part in the Formula BMW Talent Cup. The following season, Schiller stepped up to compete in the ADAC Formel Masters championship, competing for the Schiller Motorsport team run by his father and uncle. The Oreca 03 is a Le Mans Prototype built by Oreca in 2011. It is built within the revised 2011 ACO regulations for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The car made its début at the 12 Hours of Sebring run by Signatech Nissan and set to race at the 2011 24 Hours of Le Mans.
