COEX Convention & Exhibition Center
COEX () is a convention and exhibition center located in Samseong-dong, Gangnam District, Seoul, South Korea. COEX is a portmanteau of 'COvention' and 'EXhibition'. COEX is serviced by Samseong station on line 2 and Bongeunsa station on line 9 of the Seoul Subway. The 836-meter (914-yard) section of sidewalk along Yeongdong Boulevard from exit No. 5 of Samseong station on to exit No. 7 of Bongeunsa Station is designated as a smoke-free zone by the Seoul Metropolitan Government. Park Jin-pyo
Park Jin-pyo (born 1966) is a South Korean film director and screenwriter. He directed ''Too Young to Die'' (2002), ''You Are My Sunshine'' (2005), '' Voice of a Murderer'' (2007), '' Closer to Heaven'' (2009), and '' Love Forecast'' (2015). Career Park Jin-pyo was born in Seoul in 1966. Upon graduation from Chung-Ang University's Film Department, he began working in television in 1991 as a documentary producer and director, eventually making over 30 documentaries for SBS and ITV. In 2002, he made his narrative feature film debut with ''Too Young to Die'', based on the real-life story of Park Chi-gyu and Lee Sun-ye, a man and woman who fell in love in their early seventies then rediscovered sex. The Red Shoes (2005 Film)
''The Red Shoes'' () is a 2005 South Korean supernatural horror film co-written and directed by Kim Yong-gyun, based on the 1845 fairy tale of same name by Hans Christian Andersen. Plot Sun-jae ( Kim Hye-soo) leaves her unfaithful husband, Sung-joon, and moves into an old apartment with her daughter, Tae-su. She takes a pair of bright pink high heels she found in a subway car, only to discover that they are cursed. Her obsession grows, arousing envy and greed with nightmarish visions. ''Blue Swallow'' () is a 2005 South Korean film based on the true story of Park Kyung-won, an early Korean female pilot. The film became controversial when Park's alleged pro-Japanese activities came to light. It was also found that she was not, as the filmmakers had thought, the first female pilot from Korea; this distinction in fact belonged to Kwon Ki-ok of the Republic of China Air Force.
