3Music Awards
The 3 Music Award is Ghanaian people, Ghanaian music awards ceremony held annually since 2018 to celebrate Ghanaian music. It was established by the 3Music Network with TV3 Ghana, Media General TV3 as broadcasters. The Multimedia Group Limited, Multimedia group became the media right holder in the second and subsequent edition. In 2020, the Fan fest which was scheduled to take place at the Accra Polo Grounds was cancelled and a Virtual award ceremony was held from the Fantasy Dome, Ghana Trade Fair Center, Trade Fair La. This was because of the ban on public gathering due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Multimedia Group is a media group in Ghana. It was established in 1995 and has six radio stations, three television stations, two news websites and a satellite television network. The group has won several local and international awards for its leadership in information communication in Ghana and the world. Its pioneer radio station, Joy FM (Ghana), Joy FM was adjudged the second best radio station on the African continent by the British Broadcasting Corporation in 2006. Edward Kofi Agyemang Amoah known by the stage name Kofi Mole, is a hip hop and afrobeats artiste from Ghana. He was born on April 16, 1993 in Kumasi, Ashanti Region. He was awarded the Next Rated Act at the 2019 3Music Awards held in Accra.
