33 kV substation, Perunad is a transmission part of Kerala State Electricity Board, a public sector agency of under the Government of Kerala, India, that transmits the electricity supply in the state. Established in 2012, the agency comes under the authority of the Department of Power. Perunad Substation inaugurated by Minister Aryadan Muhammed. General There is only 1 no. 5 MVA, 33 kV Power transformer installed in the bay. The station auxiliary supply is taken from a 250 kVA, 11 kV transformer which is tapped from the 11 kV bus, in the station. In addition to RPG 1 and RPG 2.2 No: 11 kV feeders in the 11 kV bus. Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) is an Indian public sector undertaking under the Government of Kerala that generates, transmits and distributes electricity in the state under government monopoly. Established in 1957, the agency comes under the authority of the Department of Power. It has been registered under Indian companies act during January 2011. History * The history of electricity in the state is around one century old. The first effort in this direction was a private endeavour. Electricity was first brought to the state by a British company – the Kannan Devan Hill Produce Company, Munnar. The first generating station of the state was set up on the right bank of a tributary of River Periyar in 1910. Aryadan Muhammed
Aryadan Muhammed (15 May 1935 – 25 September 2022) was an Indian National Congress party leader who served as Minister for Electricity and Transport (Government of Kerala) in the Oommen Chandy Ministry. He represented the Nilambur constituency in Kerala until 2016, being elected for the eighth time in the 2011 State Election. Personal life Aryadan Muhammed was born in Nilambur on 15 May 1935 as the son of Unneen and Kadiyamunni. He married Mariyumma and had two sons and two daughters. He died on 25 September 2022, aged 87 while he was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Kozhikode. Vadaserikara is a village in Pathanamthitta district, in the state of Kerala, India. It is one of the 11 villages in Ranni and sits at the confluence of the Pamba and Kallar River.Nearest Railway Station Is Thiruvalla,Located At A Distance Of 34 km.
