The 30th Hong Kong Film Awards took place on 17 April 2011. The film ''Detective Dee and the Mystery of the Phantom Flame'', received the most nominations (13) and won most awards (6). The Best Film went to '' Gallants''. Hong Kong Cultural Centre
The Hong Kong Cultural Centre () is a multipurpose performance facility in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong. Located at Salisbury Road, it was built by the former Urban Council and, since 2000, has been administered by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of the Hong Kong Government. A wide variety of cultural performances are held here. Location The centre is located on the southwestern tip of Tsim Sha Tsui, on the former location of the Kowloon station of the Kowloon–Canton Railway. Adjacent to the centre on the west is the Tsim Sha Tsui Ferry Pier of the Star Ferry, while to the east are the Hong Kong Space Museum and Hong Kong Museum of Art. Wilson Yip Wai-Shun (; born 1964) is a Hong Kong actor, filmmaker and screenwriter. His films include ''Bio Zombie'', '' The White Dragon'', '' SPL: Sha Po Lang'', '' Dragon Tiger Gate'', ''Flash Point'' and the ''Ip Man'' series. Early career A film buff at an early age, Yip went to the cinema whenever he could and often wrote reviews on the backs of ticket stubs. Crossing Hennessy
''Crossing Hennessy'' () is a 2010 Hong Kong film directed by Ivy Ho. It was filmed from March to May 2009, and stars Jacky Cheung and Tang Wei. It is a remake of ''Crossing Delancey'' (1988). It is a return to film both for Cheung, who has not appeared in a film for several years, and for Tang, who was banned from acting in mainland China after appearing in Ang Lee's 2007 ''Lust, Caution''. It is the second film directed by Ho (who began her career as a screenwriter). Other actors in the film include Danny Lee Sau-Yin, Paw Hee-Ching, Maggie Cheung Ho-yee, and Andy On. The story mainly takes place around Hennessy Road, in Hong Kong Island's Causeway Bay and Wan Chai districts. In May 2009 it was announced that the film would be shown at the Cannes Film Festival. Heiward Mak Hei-yan () is a Hong Kong film director, writer and producer. Her work has been featured at various international film festivals including Singapore, Bratislava and Fribourg. In 2011, she won a Hong Kong Film Award for Best Screenplay for her writing on '' Love in a Puff''. Biography Mak was born in 1984 and grew up in Tai Wai, Hong Kong where she attend Sha Tin Government Secondary School. She received a diploma in graphic design at Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2003.
