2nd Super Robot Wars
is a tactical role-playing video game developed by Winkysoft and published by Banpresto for the Famicom. It was the first game to be produced in the "Classic" canon timeline, the second game in the overall series, and the first (and only) game produced for the Famicom video game system on December 19, 1991. A remake of the ''2nd Super Robot Wars'' was ported to Game Boy on June 30, 1995, under . However, it was not part of the "Classic" canon to the timeline. is a Japanese super robot manga written and illustrated by Go Nagai. It was originally serialized in Shueisha's ''Weekly Shōnen Jump'' from October 1972 to August 1973 and Kodansha's ' from October 1973 to September 1974. is the third installment in Sunrise's long running '' Gundam'' franchise and the last TV series in the franchise released in Japan's Shōwa period.
