2nd NFL Honors
The 2nd NFL Honors was an awards show presented by the National Football League to salute the best players and plays from the 2012 NFL season. The event was held at the Mahalia Jackson Theater in New Orleans, Louisiana on February 2, 2013 and was hosted by Alec Baldwin. The show aired on CBS and recorded a 0.9 rating with 3.8 million viewers. Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson won four awards, the most of any player. Baldwin's opening monologue, in which he roasted the NFL's biggest stars, was praised. NFL Honors
The NFL Honors is an annual awards presentation in the National Football League (NFL). From 2012 to 2021, it was held on the day before the Super Bowl. Since 2022, the ceremony is held on the Thursday before the Super Bowl, in the game's host city. The presentation was pre-recorded for same-day broadcast from 2012 to 2020. Bruce Arians
Bruce Charles Arians (born October 3, 1952) is an American football executive and former coach in the National Football League (NFL). Since 2022, he has been a senior football consultant for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Arians was previously the head coach of the Arizona Cardinals from 2013 to 2017 and the Buccaneers from 2019 to 2021. He was also the interim head coach of the Indianapolis Colts during the 2012 season. Arians is known for his slogan "No risk-it, no biscuit," which encourages aggressive playcalling. An offensive assistant for most of his career, Arians held his first NFL head coaching position with the Colts when head coach Chuck Pagano was treated for leukemia. Robert Griffin III
Robert Lee Griffin III (born February 12, 1990), nicknamed RGIII or RG3, is an American former professional football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for eight seasons, most notably with the Washington Redskins. The quarterback (QB) is a position in gridiron football who are members of the offensive side of the ball and mostly line up directly behind the Lineman (football), offensive line. Defensive end (DE) is a defensive position in the sport of gridiron football. This position has designated the players at each end of the defensive line, but changes in formation (American football), formations over the years have substantially changed how the position is played.
