2 Different Tears
''2 Different Tears'' is an extended play by South Korean girl group the Wonder Girls. The title track was written and produced by J.Y. Park. It was simultaneously released internationally on May 15, 2010, in English language, English, Korean language, Korean and Chinese language, Chinese. It was the group's first release to feature member Hyelim who replaced former member Sunmi after she departed from the group in February 2010. The EP also contains the 2009 English version of their number one single "Nobody". Background and release "2 Different Tears" continues the retro theme of the Wonder Girls, including the 1980s inspired "Tell Me" and the 1960s, Motown-inspired "Nobody", by using a disco theme. The concept was created by Sohee and Yubin who describe it as a "more sophisticated and mature, modern feel." The music uses melodies similar to the Hustle (dance), Hustle. Wonder Girls
Wonder Girls () was a South Korean girl group formed by JYP Entertainment. The group debuted in February 2007 with the single "Irony (Wonder Girls song), Irony" and 5 members: Park Ye-eun, Yeeun, Sunye, Sunmi, Hyuna, and Ahn So-hee, Sohee. After Hyuna's departure in July, Kim Yu-bin (musician), Yubin was added into the group prior to the release of their debut studio album, ''The Wonder Years (Wonder Girls album), The Wonder Years'' (2007). Sunmi
Lee Sun-mi (; born Sun Mi, May 2, 1992), known mononymously as Sunmi, is a South Korean singer, dancer, songwriter and record producer. She debuted in 2007 as a member of South Korean girl group Wonder Girls and left the group in 2010 to pursue her studies. After a three-year hiatus, Sunmi resumed her career as a soloist with her 2013 debut extended play, ''Full Moon'', spawning the number two singles " 24 Hours" and " Full Moon" on the national Gaon Digital Chart. In 2015, Sunmi was announced to be resuming promotion with the Wonder Girls and remained with the group until their disbandment in 2017. She subsequently left JYP Entertainment and joined Makeus Entertainment (now known as Abyss Company), releasing the hit single " Gashina". Hustle (dance)
The Hustle is a catch-all name for some disco dances which were extremely popular in the 1970s. Late 1970s, Bump, Hustle, Watergate and Spank were popular. It mostly refers to the unique partner dance done in nightclubs to disco music. Hustle has steps in common with Mambo and Salsa and basic steps are somewhat similar to Euro dance style Discofox, which emerged at about the same time and is more familiar in various European countries.
