The 27th Robert Awards ceremony was held on 7 February 2010 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Organized by the Danish Film Academy, the awards honoured the best in Danish and foreign film of 2009. Danish Film Academy
The Danish Film Academy () is a Danish organisation the promotes the film industry. The Danish Film Academy was founded in 1982 by a number of people with professional connection to the film industry. The Academy aims to promote film as an Independent film, independent art form, and its members are primarily people who work with film. The Academy's largest annual event is the Robert Award ceremony. Jacob Neiiendam, former head of programming at Copenhagen International Film Festival from 2005 to 2007, Nordic correspondent for ''Screen International, Screen'' from 1999 until 2005, and founder-director of the CPH PIX film festival (2008-2018), became chair of the academy before or during 2018. Anders Refn
Anders Refn (born 8 April 1944) is a Danish film editor and director. Biography Refn graduated from the National Film School of Denmark in 1969. He has credits for 72 features and TV series, as well as a 10 shorts and 26 documentaries. Refn has often worked as assistant director and technical director, and worked with Lars von Trier as editor of ''Breaking the Waves'' (1996) and ''Antichrist'' (2009). Anthony Dod Mantle
Anthony Dod Mantle, (born 14 April 1955) is a British cinematographer and still photographer. He won the Academy Award and BAFTA Award for Best Cinematography for '' Slumdog Millionaire'' (2008). Other accolades include two Bodil Awards, two European Film Awards, and four Robert Awards. Dod Mantle is considered a pioneer of digital filmmaking through his collaborations with directors Lars von Trier, Thomas Vinterberg and Danny Boyle, where he popularized the use of "action-style" handheld cameras over traditional, stationary 35mm rigs. A veteran of Dogme 95, he is heavily influenced by the '' cinéma vérité'' film movement. He is a member of the British, Danish, and American Society of Cinematographers, and resides in Copenhagen.
