Imperial Garden Theater
The , often referred to simply as the Teigeki (帝劇), and previously the Imperial Garden Theater, is a Japanese theater located in Marunouchi, Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan operated by Toho. History Opened in 1911 as the first Western-style theater in Japan, it stages a varied program of musicals and operas. is a major music awards show, held annually in Japan that recognizes outstanding achievements in the Japan Composer's Association. Established in 1959, the Japan Record Awards are one of the oldest and most prestigious music awards in the country. , born 細川貴志 (Hosokawa Takashi) on 15 June 1950, Makkari, Abuta District, Hokkaidō, Japan) is a Japanese ''enka'' singer. In 1975, he debuted with the song "Kokoro Nokori". Hosokawa immediately became one of the most popular ''enka'' and pop singers in Japan. He took part in the ''Kōhaku Uta Gassen'' for 32 consecutive years, but he was finally forced to reject NHK's offer in 2007 due to the Enten controversy The Enten controversy involved Kazutsugi Nami, the chairman of Tokyo bedding supplier Ladies & Gentlemen (L&G), arrested by Japanese police on 5 February 2009. is a Japanese idol, enka singer, and actress. Career She debuted in 1972, at age 13, with the song ' (''Professor''), receiving numerous music awards for it. The song reached the #3 position on the Oricon charts. Other hits include ' (''Classmates''), "''Chugaku Sannensei''" (''Junior High School Third Grade''), "''Okaasan''" (''Mother'') and "''Ettou Tsubame''" (''The Wintering Swallow''). In 1973, she was part of "a hit female trio", which also included musicians Momoe Yamaguchi and Junko Sakurada. The music trio became popular as part of the television program Producing the Stars (Star Tanjō!); they were known as "The Trio of Third-Year Junior High School Students" ("Hana no Chu 3 Trio").
