The Land Of Hope (2012 Film)
is a 2012 Japanese film directed by Sion Sono. Following a nuclear accident, nearby residents are forced to evacuate. A pregnant evacuee fears that she is still at risk from radiation even in her new location, while her in-laws refuse to leave their home. Kazuyuki Izutsu
is a Japanese film director, screenwriter and film critic. Career Born in Nara Prefecture, Izutsu started making 8mm films in high school, and directed his first 35mm film, a pink film, in 1975. He earned a citation from the Directors Guild of Japan New Directors Award in 1981 for ''Gaki Teikoku'', and his '' Boys Be Ambitious'' won the best picture award at the 1996 Blue Ribbon Awards. He received two Japanese Academy Award nominations in 2006 for writing and directing ''Pacchigi!'' and won the award for best director at the 27th Yokohama Film Festival for that film. is 2011 Japanese drama film based on the manga series of the same name by Minoru Furuya and directed by Sion Sono. The word ''himizu'' is the Japanese name for a species of mole. Abbas Kiarostami ( fa, عباس کیارستمی ; 22 June 1940 – 4 July 2016) was an Iranian film director, screenwriter, poet, photographer, and film producer. An active filmmaker from 1970, Kiarostami had been involved in the production of over forty films, including shorts and documentaries.
