"21st Century Life" is the second single from Sam Sparro's eponymous debut album, released on 21 July 2008. The Song was featured on one episode of ''Britannia High'' and it is also the theme music to the BBC Three drama, '' Personal Affairs''. The song made it to BBC Radio 1's C-List, but was later dropped. It was performed on the first live result show on reality television series, ''So You Think You Can Dance Australia'', on 16 February 2009 The song was one of 50 tracks selected for the official ''NBA 2K17'' soundtrack, which was curated by Grimes, Imagine Dragons and Noah Shebib. Music video The video features Sparro dancing and singing in front of bright backgrounds intercut with animations of cardboard cut-out characters. The video was directed by Mariah Garnett. Samuel Falson (born 8 November 1982), better known by his stage name Sam Sparro, is an Australian singer, songwriter and record producer. He was signed to the British record label Island Records. Sparro is best known for his 2008 single " Black and Gold". Biography Sam Sparro was born 8 November 1982 and raised in Sydney, Australia. Sparro's father, Chris Falson is a gospel minister and recording artist of Maltese descent and of Portuguese descent who has written music for ''Star Trek'' and '' Queer Eye for the Straight Guy''. Sparro's mother, Karyn Falson (née Frankland) is from Australia. His brother plays guitar professionally while his mother plays organ at a Baptist church. Noah James Shebib (born March 31, 1983), better known by his stage name 40, is a Canadian record producer, songwriter, record executive, and former child actor from Toronto, Ontario. He is best known for his production work with fellow Toronto native Drake, having extensive involvement on the entirety of Drake's discography since 2008. Shebib's production style, often described as downtempo and ambient, has become synonymous with Drake's sound.
