20th Century Family
20th Century Family (also known as 20th Century Studios Family; formerly known as Fox Family or 20th Century Fox Family) is a division of 20th Century Studios which produces family-friendly films and television programs. Besides theatrical films, the division oversees mixed media (live-action with animation), family animated holiday television specials based on film properties, and feature films based on TV shows. Fox Animation Studios was an American animation studio owned by 20th Century Fox and located in Phoenix, Arizona. It was a subsidiary of 20th Century Fox Animation and was established by animators Don Bluth and Gary Goldman. The acquisition of Twenty-First Century Fox, Inc. by The Walt Disney Company was announced on December 14, 2017, and was completed on March 20, 2019. Among other key assets, the acquisition included the 20th Century Fox film and television studios, U.S. cable channels such as FX, Fox Networks Group, a 73% stake in National Geographic Partners, Indian television broadcaster Star India, and a 30% stake in Hulu. The Dam Keeper
''The Dam Keeper'' is a 2014 American animated short film directed by Robert Kondo and Daisuke Tsutsumi. It tells the story of Pig, an introverted youth who lives in a windmill and keeps a dark fog from engulfing his town. Although socially rejected by his peers, he is befriended by the artistic Fox. Kondo and Tsutsumi began developing the film while working as art directors on ''Monsters University'' and produced it through a co-op program at Pixar. This is Tsutsumi's second short film, after 2011's ''Sketchtravel'', and Kondo's first directorial effort. Producers Megan Bartel and Duncan Ramsay were also employees at Pixar.
