20th Bangladesh National Film Awards
The 20th Bangladesh National Film Awards, presented by Ministry of Information, Bangladesh to felicitate the best of Bangladeshi Cinema released in the year 1995. The ceremony took place in Dhaka and awards were given by then President of Bangladesh. The National Film Awards are the only film awards given by the government itself. Every year, a national panel appointed by the government selects the winning entry, and the award ceremony is held in Dhaka. 1995 was the 20th ceremony of National Film Awards. Saidur Rahman Boyati
Saidur Rahman Boyati (born 1931) is a Bangladesh folk singer of Baul genre. He was awarded Shilpakala Padak in 2013 and Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Male Playback Singer in 1995. Background and career Saidur Rahman Boyati started his education at Paschim Hasli Primary School in Manikganj. In 1959, he failed the matriculation examination and did not study afterward. National Film Awards (Bangladesh) Ceremonies
The National Film Awards is the most prominent film award ceremony in India. Established in 1954, it has been administered, along with the International Film Festival of India and the Indian Panorama, by the Indian government's Directorate of Film Festivals since 1973. Tanvir Mokammel
Tanvir Mokammel (born 8 March 1955) is a Bangladeshi filmmaker and writer. He is the recipient of Ekushey Padak in 2017. He won Bangladesh National Film Awards total ten times for the films ''Nodir Naam Modhumoti'' (1995), '' Chitra Nodir Pare'' (1999) and ''Lalsalu'' (2001). He is the current director of Bangladesh Film Institute in Dhaka. Early life and education Tanvir Mokammel grew up in Khulna.
