2025 Vuelta A Burgos Feminas
The 2025 Vuelta a Burgos Feminas was a Spanish women's cycle stage race held in the Province of Burgos in northern Spain from 22 to 25 May. It was the tenth edition of Vuelta a Burgos Feminas, and the 17th event of the 2025 UCI Women's World Tour. The race was won by Swiss rider Marlen Reusser of Movistar Team. Reusser won the mountainous stage 3 by 40 seconds, before securing victory by winning the individual time trial on stage 4. Reusser also won the points and mountains classifications. The youth classification was won by Dutch rider Nienke Vinke of Team Picnic PostNL, and the team classification was won by FDJ–Suez. 2025 UCI Women's World Tour
The 2025 UCI Women's World Tour is a competition with twenty-seven road bicycle racing, road cycling events throughout the 2025 in women's road cycling, 2025 women's cycling season. The competition began with the 2025 Women's Tour Down Under, Women's Tour Down Under from 17 to 19 January, and will finish with the 2025 Tour of Guangxi (women's race), Tour of Guangxi on 19 October. It is the tenth edition of the UCI Women's World Tour – launched by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) in 2016 – but for the first time is not a ranking competition in its own right, with the rankings having been removed from the UCI's Road Race regulations. 2025 UAE Tour Women
The 2025 UAE Tour Women was a road cycling stage race that took place between 6 and 9 February in the United Arab Emirates. It was the third edition of the UAE Tour Women, and the third race of the 2025 UCI Women's World Tour. The race was won by Italian rider Elisa Longo Borghini of UAE Team ADQ, after taking part in a five-rider breakaway on stage 2 and winning the mountainous stage 3 to Jebel Hafeet. Owing to crosswinds, stage 2 had an average speed of , making it the fastest ever UCI Women's World Tour stage. Lorena Wiebes (born 17 March 1999) is a Dutch racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's WorldTeam . Career Road On the road, Wiebes turned professional in 2018, riding for Parkhotel Valkenburg. In 2019, she became Dutch National Road Race champion. She won the gold medal in the road race at the 2019 European Games, beating her compatriot Marianne Vos in the sprint for the line. In 2020, she joined Team Sunweb. Burgos
Burgos () is a city in Spain located in the autonomous community of Castile and León. It is the capital and most populous municipality of the province of Burgos. Vuelta Ciclista a Burgos is an elite professional road bicycle racing event held annually in the Burgos (province), Burgos province of Spain. The men's Vuelta a Burgos has been a multi-day stage race as part of the UCI Europe Tour since 2005. In 2019, a multi-day women's stage race, the Vuelta a Burgos Feminas, was added that runs in mid-May. The men's race became part of the UCI ProSeries in 2020.
