The 2025 UEFA European Under-21 Championship final was a Association football, football match that took place on 28 June 2025 at Tehelné pole in Bratislava, Slovakia, to determine the winners of the 2025 UEFA European Under-21 Championship. The match was contested by defending champions England national under-21 football team, England and Germany national under-21 football team, Germany. England won the match 3–2 after Overtime (sports)#Association football, extra time for their second consecutive UEFA European Under-21 Championship and their fourth title overall. Harvey Elliott and Omari Hutchinson both scored to put England in control of the final, before Nelson Weiper and Paul Nebel each scored respectively to bring Germany back into the game. Nelson Felix Patrick Weiper (born 17 March 2005) is a German professional footballer who plays as a forward for Bundesliga club Mainz 05. Club career Weiper is a product of the youth academy of Mainz 05, having joined as an U8. Václav Sejk (born 18 May 2002) is a Czech professional footballer who plays as a forward for Primeira Liga club Famalicão on loan from Sparta Prague. Dunajská Streda (; ; ) is a town located in southern Slovakia ( Trnavský kraj). Dunajská Streda is the most culturally significant town in the Žitný ostrov area. The town has a population of 22,730, with ethnic Hungarians forming the 72% majority. Name The name of ''Syridahel'' was first mentioned in 1256. MOL Aréna is a Association football, football stadium in Dunajská Streda, Slovakia. It is the home ground of a local club FC DAC 1904 Dunajská Streda and has an all-seated capacity of 12,700 people.
