2025 Tour Of Norway
The 2025 Tour of Norway was a road cycling stage race that took place between 29 May and 1 June 2025 in Norway. The race was rated as a category 2.Pro event on the 2025 UCI ProSeries calendar, and was the 14th edition of the Tour of Norway. 2025 UCI ProSeries
The 2025 UCI ProSeries will be the sixth season of the UCI ProSeries, the second tier road cycling tour, below the UCI World Tour, but above the various regional UCI Continental Circuits. The calendar consists of 58 events, of which 35 are one-day races (1.Pro), and 23 are stage races (2.Pro). There are 51 events in Europe, five in Asia, and one in the United States. Solakrossen
Solakrossen or Sola is the administrative center of Sola municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The village is located at the south end of the Hafrsfjorden on the Stavanger Peninsula, just northwest of the city of Sandnes. The large Stavanger Airport, Sola is located on the west side of the village. The village of Sørnes lies just to the north. Sola Church lies on the far western edge of Solakrossen. Stavanger
Stavanger, officially the Stavanger Municipality, is a city and municipalities of Norway, municipality in Norway. It is the third largest city and third largest metropolitan area in Norway (through conurbation with neighboring Sandnes) and the administrative center of Rogaland county. Maxim Van Gils (born 25 November 1999) is a Belgian cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Career (2021–2024) Professional since 2021, Van Gils took his first pro win at the 2022 Saudi Tour, winning stage four and the general classification. Considered a strong climber and classics rider, he has also taken a number of top 10 and podium finishes at classic races, including third places at the 2024 Strade Bianche and the 2024 La Flèche Wallonne. He also won the 5 kilometer time trial at the 2024 Vuelta a Andalucía. In May, he won his first UCI WorldTour race, winning a group sprint at Eschborn–Frankfurt. At the 2023 Japan Cup, Van Gils received a fine and was penalized 10 UCI points after hitting Georgios Bouglas just after crossing the finish line. Jørpeland is the administrative centre of Strand, Norway, Strand municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. Egersund
Egersund is a List of towns and cities in Norway, town in Eigersund municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The town is located along the southwestern coast of Norway, about south of the city of Stavanger (city), Stavanger.
