2025 TA2 Racing Muscle Car Series
The 2025 TA2 Racing Muscle Car Series will be the ninth year of the TA2 Racing Muscle Car Series, a racing series for TA2-class cars held in the eastern states of Australia. The series is promoted by TA2 Racing Australia, and will be the first under the new ownership of a group of regular series competitors. It is one of two national series for this class of car in Australia - the other is the Australian National Trans-Am Series. Traditionally run over six rounds as the headline class at the Hi-Tec Oils Super Series, the series has added a seventh round, as a support race at the Bathurst 6 Hour. This race will also be part of the National Trans-Am Series, leading to an expected combined entry grid "in the vicinity of 40 cars" according to the series promoters. The TA2 Racing Muscle Car Series is an Australian motor racing category using TA2 class cars most closely associated with the American Trans-Am Series. It is the featured category at all rounds of the Hi-Tec Oils Super Series, an annual motor racing series held at various tracks in eastern Australia. The category is managed by TA2 Racing Australia, and sanctioned by the Australian Auto Sport Alliance. The category ownership, along with the distribution and parts business, was sold to a group of long-standing series competitors in 2024. George Miedecke (born January 16, 1986) is an Australian professional auto racing driver who has previously competed in the ARCA Racing Series and the Dunlop V8 Supercar Series . Marcos Ross Ambrose (born 1 September 1976) is an Australian former racing driver and current Garry Rogers Motorsport competition director.
