2025 Russian Cup Final
The 2025 Russian Cup Final (formally 'Superfinal' due to the competition structure) was the 33rd Russian Cup Final, the final match of the 2024–25 Russian Cup. It was played at Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow, Russia, on 1 June 2025, contested by FC Rostov, Rostov and PFC CSKA Moscow, CSKA Moscow. CSKA Moscow won the match 4–3 on penalties following a 0–0 draw after regular time. As winners, they earned the right to play against the winners of the 2024–25 Russian Premier League, FC Krasnodar, Krasnodar, in the 2025 Russian Super Cup. 2024–25 Russian Cup
The 2024–25 Russian Cup was the 33rd season of the Russian football knockout tournament since the dissolution of the Soviet Union. The competition started on 30 July 2024 and concluded on 1 June 2025. The winner of the cup would normally gain entry into the 2025–26 UEFA Europa League; however, on 28 February 2022, Russian football clubs were suspended from FIFA & UEFA international competitions until further notice due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Children's Day is a commemorative date celebrated annually in honour of children, whose date of observance varies by country. Sékou Koïta (born 28 November 1999) is a Malian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Russian Premier League club CSKA Moscow and the Mali national team.
