The 2025 Philippine local elections in Caraga are scheduled to be held on May 12, 2025. Agusan del Norte Governor of Agusan del Norte Incumbent Angelica Amante (Partido Demokratiko Pilipino) is running for a second term. She was elected with 81.10% of the vote in 2022. Nasipit, Agusan Del Norte
Nasipit, officially the Municipality of Nasipit ( ceb, Lungsod sa Nasipit; tgl, Bayan ng Nasipit), is a 3rd class municipality in the province of Agusan del Norte, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 44,822 people. The Port of Nasipit is the major seaport or base port in Agusan del Norte. The Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) assigned PMO Nasipit as an International Base port. Libjo, officially the Municipality of Libjo ( Surigaonon: ''Lungsod nan Libjo''; ceb, Lungsod sa Libjo; tl, Bayan ng Libjo; war, Bungto han Libjo), is a 5th class municipality in the province of Dinagat Islands, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 18,051 people. It is formerly known as Albor. However, in February 2010, the Supreme Court ruled that the law was unconstitutional, as the necessary requirements for provincial land area and population were not met. Dinagat Islands Provincial Board
The Dinagat Islands Provincial Board is the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (provincial legislature) of the Philippine province of Dinagat Islands. The members are elected via plurality-at-large voting: the province is divided into two districts, each having four seats. A voter votes up to four names, with the top four candidates per district being elected. The vice governor is the ''ex officio'' presiding officer, and only votes to break ties. The vice governor is elected via the plurality voting system province-wide.
