The 2025 Philippine local elections in Bangsamoro are scheduled to be held on May 12, 2025. Basilan Governor of Basilan Term-limited incumbent Hadjiman Hataman Salliman (Partido Federal ng Pilipinas) is running for vice governor of Basilan. He was re-elected under PDP–Laban with 59.03% of the vote in 2022. Vice Governor of Basilan Incumbent Yusop Alano (Partido Federal ng Pilipinas) is running for the House of Representatives in Basilan's lone legislative district. He was re-elected under PDP–Laban with 78.52% of the vote in 2022. Basilan Provincial Board Since Basilan's reclassification as a 1st class province in 2025, the Basilan Provincial Board is composed of 10 elected board members. 2025 Philippine Local Elections
Local elections in the Philippines will take place on May 12, 2025. These will be conducted together with the 2025 general election for national positions. All elected positions above the barangay level will be contested. The following 18,191 positions will be contested: * All 82 provincial governorships and vice-governorships * 792 provincial board members (regular Sangguniang Panlalawigan members) * All 149 mayorships and vice mayorships in cities * 1,682 city councilors (regular Sangguniang Panlungsod members) * All 1,493 mayorships and vice mayorships in municipalities * 11,948 municipal councilors (regular Sangguniang Bayan members) Elections for the Bangsamoro Parliament was originally synchronized with the local elections, but was postponed to October 2024. Akbar, officially the Municipality of Akbar ( Tausūg: ''Lupah Akbar''; Chavacano: ''Municipalidad de Akbar''; tgl, Bayan ng Akbar), is a municipality in the province of Basilan, Philippines. Lanao Del Sur Provincial Board
The Lanao del Sur Provincial Board is the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (provincial legislature) of the Philippine province of Lanao del Sur. The members are elected via plurality-at-large voting: the province is divided into two districts, each having five seats. A voter votes up to five names, with the top five candidates per district being elected. The vice governor is the ''ex officio'' presiding officer, and only votes to break ties. The vice governor is elected via the plurality voting system province-wide. The districts used in appropriation of members is coextensive with the legislative districts of Lanao del Sur. The Reform PH Party, officially as Reform PH - People's Party, is a Filipino political party established in June 2024. History In June 10, 2024, former senator Gringo Honasan and some of his colleagues from the now-defunct Reform the Armed Forces Movement (RAM) met at the Club Filipino in San Juan, Metro Manila to form the party.
