2025 NASCAR Cup Series
The 2025 NASCAR Cup Series is the 77th season for NASCAR professional stock car racing in the United States and the 54th season for the modern-era NASCAR Cup Series, Cup Series. The season started with the 2025 Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium, Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium on February 2 at Bowman Gray Stadium, followed by 2025 The Duel at Daytona, The Duel at Daytona on February 13, and the 67th running of the 2025 Daytona 500, Daytona 500 (the first points race of the season) on February 16, both at Daytona International Speedway. The season will end with the NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race at Phoenix Raceway on November 2. The 2025 season is the first year under NASCAR's new TV deal that will last until 2031. Anthony Wayne Stewart (born May 20, 1971), nicknamed "Smoke", is an American semi-retired professional auto racing driver, and former NASCAR team co-owner of Stewart-Haas Racing. He currently competes in the NHRA Top Fuel class. He is a four-time NASCAR Cup Series champion, winning two as a driver (2002, 2005), one as owner/driver (2011), and one as an owner (2014). Jayski's Silly Season Site is a web site focusing primarily on NASCAR news and rumors. The website was founded by Jay "Jayski" Adamczyk in 1996 (who was a fan of Mark Donohue) after he had difficulty finding news regarding the Melling Racing team, and subsequently worked to get all NASCAR news grouped together on the site. The site was purchased from Adamczyk by ESPN in 2007; after ESPN shut the site down in January 2019, Adamczyk reacquired the rights to Jayski-related properties in April 2019 and rolled out a limited version of the new website with a full launch occurring on May 13, 2019. The National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) makes and enforces numerous rules and regulations that transcend all racing series. NASCAR issues a different rule book for each racing series; however, rule books are published exclusively for NASCAR members and are not made available to the public. Martin Lee Truex Jr. (born June 29, 1980) is an American semi-retired professional stock car racing driver. He competes part-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, driving the No. 56 Toyota Camry XSE for Tricon Garage. Gene Francis Haas (born November 12, 1952) is the American founder, president, and sole stockholder of Haas Automation, a CNC machine tool manufacturer. He also has founded the NASCAR teams Haas CNC Racing, Stewart-Haas Racing and Haas Factory Team, as well as the Formula One team, Haas F1 Team. Haas Automation Haas graduated from California State University, Northridge in 1975 with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and finance.
