2025 Melbourne Formula 3 Round
The 2025 Melbourne FIA Formula 3 round was a motor racing event held between 13 and 16 March 2025 at the Albert Park Circuit in Melbourne, Australia. It was the opening round of the 2025 FIA Formula 3 Championship and was held in support of the 2025 Australian Grand Prix. Classification Summary Rafael Câmara qualified in first place at Albert Park Circuit ahead of Noah Strømsted and Théophile Naël. Santiago Ramos won the sprint race, while pole sitter Câmara won the feature race. Câmara leads the championship by 9 points ahead of Naël and 10 points ahead of Strømsted. Albert Park Circuit
The Albert Park Circuit is a motorsport street circuit around Albert Park Lake, three kilometres south of central Melbourne. It is used annually as a circuit for the Formula One Australian Grand Prix, the supporting Supercars Championship Melbourne 400 and other associated support races. The circuit has an FIA Grade 1 license. Although the entire track consists of normally public roads, each sector includes medium to high-speed characteristics more commonly associated with dedicated racetracks facilitated by grass and gravel run-off safety zones that are reconstructed annually. However, the circuit also has characteristics of a street circuit's enclosed nature due to concrete barriers annually built along the Lakeside Drive curve, in particular, where run-off is not available due to the proximity of the lake shore. Campos Racing is a Spanish motor racing team, founded by former Formula One driver Adrián Campos. The team has been successful in Formula Three and the GP2 Series. History After retiring from racing, Campos formed his own team at the end of 1997, under the name Campos Motorsport.
