The 2025 Major League Soccer All-Star Game will be the 29th annual Major League Soccer All-Star Game, an exhibition soccer match in the United States. It will feature all-star squads from Major League Soccer (MLS) and Liga MX of Mexico—the fourth edition to use the inter-league format. The All-Star Game will be played on July 23, 2025, at Q2 Stadium in Austin, Texas. Q2 Stadium
Q2 Stadium is a soccer-specific stadium located in the North Burnet section of North Austin, Texas, United States. It is the home of Austin FC, a Major League Soccer (MLS) team that began play in 2021. The stadium hosted its first event on June 16, 2021, an international friendly between the United States women's national team and Nigeria. Site history The earliest noted development of the tract of land was in 1956, when the land was christened as a 23.5 acre chemical manufacturing plant. The manufacturing plant produced various chemicals for Reichhold Chemicals, generally peroxides, for the majority of its 29 years as a chemical plant. The facility was closed following a series of on-site safety incidents in December, 1985, which made it economically infeasible to operate. The land was annexed into the Austin city limits on July 19, 1973. 2025 Major League Soccer Season
The 2025 Major League Soccer season is the ongoing 30th season of Major League Soccer (MLS), the top professional soccer league in the United States and Canada, and the 47th season overall of a national first-division league in the United States. MLS expanded to 30 clubs this season with the addition of San Diego FC, an expansion team awarded in 2023. The league's 30 teams are divided into the Eastern and Western conferences, which each have 15 teams. The regular season runs from February 22 to October 18 and comprises 34 matches for each team with a schedule that is primarily intra-conference with 6 inter-conference matches per team. Liga MX, also known as Liga BBVA MX for sponsorship reasons, is a professional association football league in Mexico and the highest level of the Mexican football league system.
