2025 Houston Dynamo FC Season
The 2025 Houston Dynamo season is the 20th season of the team's existence since joining Major League Soccer (MLS) prior to the 2006 season. 2025 is the third season under head coach Ben Olsen and the fourth season under GM Pat Onstad and technical director Asher Mendelsohn. Houston Dynamo
Houston Dynamo Football Club is an American professional soccer club based in Houston. The club competes in Major League Soccer (MLS) as a member of the Western Conference. Established on December 15, 2005, the club was founded after their former owners relocated the San Jose Earthquakes' players and staff to Houston following the 2005 season. For their first six seasons in Houston, the Dynamo played at Robertson Stadium on the campus of the University of Houston. During the 2012 season, the club moved to Shell Energy Stadium, a soccer-specific stadium in East Downtown Houston. The club is majority-owned by Ted Segal. Segal fully controls ownership after buying out his remaining minority partners in August 2022. Griffin Lawrence Dorsey (born March 5, 1999) is an American professional soccer player who plays for Major League Soccer club Houston Dynamo as a winger or full-back. Career Youth, college and amateur Dorsey played three years with U.S. Soccer Development Academy side Colorado Rush SC. He played college soccer at Indiana University in 2017. During two seasons with the Hoosiers, Dorsey made 44 appearances, scoring eight goals, and tallying eleven assists while helping IU reach the NCAA Tournament both years. Michael Anthony Halliday (born January 22, 2003) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a defender for Major League Soccer club Houston Dynamo. Youth career Halliday was born in Orlando, Florida, but grew up in Apopka. In 2016, Halliday joined Orlando City Academy's U-13 side and progressed through the academy. Generation Adidas is a joint venture between Major League Soccer and U.S. Soccer aimed at raising the level of young professional soccer talent in the United States. Ethan Andrew Bartlow (born February 2, 2000) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a defender for Major League Soccer club Houston Dynamo. Youth career Playing for USSDA side Crossfire Premier SC, Bartlow scored seven goals in 27 games. College and amateur career As a freshman in 2018, Bartlow started 18 games for the University of Washington.
