2025 GT2 European Series
The 2025 GT2 European Series Powered by Pirelli is a motor racing championship for GT2 cars and will be the 5th running of the GT2 European Series. It is organised by SRO Motorsports Group. The championship will be contested over twelve races at six rounds held at European circuits in support of GT World Challenge Europe, and the Intercontinental GT Challenge at the 2025 24 Hours of Spa. It began in April and will end in October. Calendar Series news * For this season, the GT2 European Series will switch to Pirelli's new P Zero DHG tyres, as the SRO Motorsports Group adopts these for all its GT2, GT3 and GT4 championships in 2025. SRO Motorsports Group
SRO Motorsports Group (formerly the Stéphane Ratel Organisation) is an international sporting organisation best known for promoting and running a variety of racing events and series, including the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa, Intercontinental GT Challenge and Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe. The company was founded in 1995 by Stéphane Ratel and is now considered the global leader in GT racing. SRO also organises the multi-disciplinary FIA Motorsport Games, as well as e-sports events and touring car categories. As of 2020 it keeps offices in London, Paris, Liège and Hong Kong, while Ratel continues to act as CEO. Maserati MC20
The Maserati MC20 (MC being the acronym for ''Maserati Corse 2020'', internal code M240) is a two-seater, rear-mid-engine sports car produced by Italian car manufacturer Maserati. The debut of the MC20 was initially scheduled for May 2020, but was rescheduled along with brand redesign for September 2020 in Modena. A racing variant was also announced at the same time. The open top variant of the MC20 called the ''Cielo'' (Italian for sky) made its debut in May 2022. Simon Birch Kristensen (born 4 January 2007 in Ikast) is a Danish racing driver competing for Razoon – More than Racing in ADAC GT Masters. Career Birch started karting in 2016 and mainly competed in Rotax Max Challenge Denmark until 2021. TFT Racing is a French racing team. The team was very successful in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series winning three drivers titles in four years.
