2025 First Stand Tournament
The 2025 First Stand Tournament was the first event of First Stand Tournament (FST) – a ''League of Legends'' tournament organized by publisher Riot Games at the conclusion of the first of three splits in the current competitive calendar of the League of Legends in esports, game's professional esports scene. The inaugural tournament was held in South Korea from 10 to 16 March 2025. ''League of Legends'' (''LoL''), commonly referred to as ''League'', is a 2009 multiplayer online battle arena video game developed and published by Riot Games. Inspired by ''Defense of the Ancients'', a custom map for ''Warcraft III'', Riot's founders sought to develop a stand-alone game in the same genre. The 2025 Mid-Season Invitational will be the tenth Mid-Season Invitational (MSI), a Riot Games-organised tournament for ''League of Legends'', a multiplayer online battle arena video game. The tournament will be held in Vancouver, Canada, and will be the first edition of the tournament to feature the Fearless Draft format, and the first to be staged under the game's new competitive esports calendar since 2025.
