2025 FIA Formula 3 Championship
The 2025 FIA Formula 3 Championship is a planned motor racing championship for Formula 3 cars sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). The championship is the sixteenth season of Formula 3 racing and the seventh season run under the FIA Formula 3 Championship moniker. It is an open-wheel racing category serving as the third tier of formula racing in the FIA Global Pathway. The category will be run in support of selected rounds of the 2025 FIA Formula One World Championship. As the championship is a spec series, all teams and drivers competing in the championship will run the same car. Prema Racing will enter the season as the reigning Team's Champions having secured their title in the penultimate race of the 2024 in Spa-Francorchamps. 2025 will see the introduction of a new Dallara-built chassis, with the championship retiring the Dallara F3 2019 it had used since its inaugural season in 2019. FIA Formula 3 Championship
The FIA Formula 3 Championship is a third-tier international single-seater racing championship and organised by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). The championship launched in 2019 as a feeder series for the FIA Formula 1 World Championship and FIA Formula 2 Championships. It was the result of a merger between two third-tier single-seater racing championships, the GP3 Series and the FIA Formula 3 European Championship as it was announced on 10 March 2018. The championship is part of the FIA Global Pathway consolidation project plan. Unlike its predecessor, the Formula 3 European Championship, the series runs exclusively in support of Formula One races. Ugo Ugochukwu Orlandi (born April 23, 2007) is an American racing driver of Nigerian and Italian descent. He currently competes in the Italian F4 Championship with Prema Racing, having previously finished third in the F4 British Championship racing for Carlin. He is a member of the McLaren Driver Development Programme connected to the McLaren F1 Team. Career Karting Ugochukwu began his karting career in America, winning the Micro ROK Cup USA in 2014 and the Florida Winter Tour in 2015 before moving to Italy to compete in European championships. Hitech Grand Prix (formerly known as Hitech Racing) is a British motor racing team. It was founded in 2002 by Dennis Rushen and David Hayle. The team started racing in the British Formula 3 Championship in 2003. The team also competed in the South American Formula Three Series, namely the Formula 3 Sudamericana. Nikola Tsolov ( bg, Никола Цолов, born 21 December 2006) is a Bulgarian racing driver who is the current champion of the F4 Spanish Championship and a member of the Alpine Affiliate programme. He will race with ART Grand Prix in the 2023 FIA Formula 3 Championship. Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak ( th, ทัศนพล อินทรภูวศักดิ์, born 14 November 2005), also known as Tern Inthraphuvasak, is a Thai racing driver set to compete in the 2023 Eurocup-3 season, driving for Campos Racing. He is the son of GT racing driver Vutthikorn Inthraphuvasak. José María Navalón Boya (born 13 April 2004), better known as Mari Boya, is a Spanish racing driver, who is set to race for MP Motorsport in the 2023 FIA Formula 3 Championship. He previously competed in the Formula Regional European Championship during 2021 and 2022 and was the 2020 Spanish F4 vice-champion. Campos Racing
Campos Racing is a Spanish motor racing team, founded by former Formula One driver Adrián Campos. The team has been successful in Formula Three and the GP2 Series. History After retiring from racing, Campos formed his own team at the end of 1997, under the name Campos Motorsport. In 1998 the team began by competing in the new Open Fortuna by Nissan, with Marc Gené and Antonio García as drivers. Laurens van Hoepen (born 6 September 2005) is a Dutch racing driver who currently competes in the Formula Regional European Championship with ART Grand Prix, having previously raced in the Ultimate Cup Series in 2021. Tuukka Taponen (born 26 October 2006) is a Finnish racing driver who is currently competing in the 2024 Formula Regional European Championship with R-ace GP. He finished runner up in the 2023 F4 UAE Championship, and is a member of the Ferrari Driver Academy. James Anthony Wharton (born 8 July 2006) is an Australian racing driver who currently competes in the 2024 Formula Regional European Championship for Prema Racing. ART Grand Prix is a French motor racing team that competes in formula single-seaters in Europe. In 2012, it competed in the GP2 Series and GP3 Series as Lotus GP to reflect sponsorship from British sports and racing car manufacturer Lotus. The team competed as Lotus ART in 2011. Charlie Wurz (born 2 December 2005) is an Austrian-British racing driver who most recently competed for Prema Racing in the Italian F4 Championship. He is the son of former Formula One driver Alexander Wurz. Racing career Karting Wurz competed in karting series across Europe since 2017.
