2025 European Rally Championship
The 2025 European Rally Championship is the 73rd season of the FIA European Rally Championship, the European continental championship series in rallying. The season is also the twelfth following the merge between the European Rally Championship and the Intercontinental Rally Challenge. Reigning champions Hayden Paddon and John Kennard did not return as they focused on Australian Rally Championship. The season was marred by the death of ERC Junior driver Matteo Doretto in a pre-event test prior to the 2025 Rally Poland. Confirmed competitions * FIA ERC: Main open championship for all current FIA-homologated cars within sporting classes RC2 to RC5, with Rally2 cars the leading contenders. * FIA ERC3: Second tier, specifically for the Rally3 class. * FIA ERC4: Third ERC tier, the first for front-wheel-drive cars. Veszprém
Veszprém (; , , , ) is one of the oldest urban areas in Hungary, and a city with county rights. It lies approximately north of the Lake Balaton. Zlín Region () is an administrative unit () of the Czech Republic, located in the south-eastern part of the historical region of Moravia. It is named after its capital Zlín. Together with the Olomouc Region it forms a cohesion area of Central Moravia. Barum Czech Rally Zlín
The Barum Czech Rally Zlín (also called Barum Rallye and Barum Rally Zlín), is a tarmac rally held in Zlín, Czech Republic. It is currently part of the European Rally Championship and previously has been part of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge. Founded in 1971, it has been a round of the Czechoslovakia Rally Championship in its earliest days. It would later become a round of the Mitropa Cup, the Alpe Adria Rally Cup and since 1984, the European Rally Championship. The Austrian Rally Championship would later take in the event. Fiuggi ( Central-Northern Latian dialect: ) is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the province of Frosinone, in the Italian region of Latium. The town of Fiuggi became famous for its Acqua di Fiuggi (Fiuggi Water), which flows from its natural springs and mountains. The water has been used in Italy since as early as the 14th century and is famous for its purported healing properties. Mikołajki () is a resort town in Mrągowo County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship in north-eastern Poland, with 3,852 inhabitants as of 2017. The Rally of Poland (in Polish, ''Rajd Polski'') is a motorsport event for rally cars that was first established in 1921. It is third-oldest rally in the world, preceded only by Österreichische Alpenfahrt and Monte Carlo Rally. The event became a permanent fixture of the European Rally Championship in 1960, except for a few editions held as part of the World Rally Championship. In 1973, the Rally of Poland was one of the thirteen rounds of newly established World Rally Championship, but was removed from the 1974 calendar. After a move to Mikołajki in the Masurian Lake District in 2005, event organisers started lobbying for the event's inclusion as a round of the World Rally Championship. Värmland County () is a county or '' län'' in west central Sweden. It borders the Swedish counties of Dalarna, Örebro and Västra Götaland, as well as the Norwegian counties of Østfold, Akershus and Innlandet to the west.
