2025 Ettan
The 2025 Ettan is the 20th season of Sweden's third-tier football league in its current format. The season starts on 28 March 2025 and ends on 9 November 2025. Teams 32 teams contest the league divided into two divisions, Norra and Södra. 22 are returning from the 2024 season, three relegated from Superettan, and seven promoted from Swedish Division 2. The champion of each division will qualify directly for promotion to Superettan, while the two runners-up compete in a play-off against the thirteenth and fourteenth teams from Superettan to decide who will play in the 2026 Superettan. The bottom three teams in each division will qualify directly for relegation to Division 2, while the two thirteenth-placed teams play against each other while the top two runners-up from Division 2 play against each other to decide who will play in 2026 Ettan. Ettan Fotboll
Ettan Fotboll, or simply Ettan (), which also is its common name in everyday speech, is the third level in the Swedish football league system and consists of 32 Swedish football teams. It was formerly simply known as ''Division 1''. Division 1 was the second tier from 1987 to 1999, but was replaced by Superettan in 2000. It was reestablished for the 2006 season as the third tier below Superettan. History The old Division 1 replaced Division 2 as the second highest level in 1987 and consisted of two separate leagues with 14 teams each, Norra (Northern) and Södra (Southern), except for the 1991 and 1992 seasons which comprised 32 teams in four leagues, adding Östra (Eastern) and Västra (Western). Karlbergs BK is a professional Sweden, Swedish Association football, football club originating from Karlberg in Birkastaden, an area in the southwestern part of Vasastan, Stockholm, Vasastan in central Stockholm. As Vasastan has no full sized football pitches, the club relocated to neighbouring Kungsholmen and has the majority of its operations on the island. FC Rosengård is a Swedish professional football club located in the area Rosengård of Malmö. The club was founded on 4 September 1917 as Malmö Boll & Idrottsförening but has since been merged once and renamed twice. BK Olympic
BK Olympic is a Swedish football club located in Lindängen which is a residential area of Malmö. Background The club was founded in 1920 as IF Olympia. The following year the club was expanded and it was decided to make an application for provisional membership of the Skånes Fotbollförbund (Skåne Football Association). The club changed its name to BK Olympia and it was decided that the club colours should be green and white. Assyriska Fotbollsföreningen, also known simply as Assyriska FF, is a Swedish football club based in Södertälje, Stockholm County. The club, formed in 1974 by Assyrian immigrants, has advanced through the league system and is currently playing in the fourth highest Swedish league, Division 2.
