2025 Duke Blue Devils Baseball Team
The 2025 Duke Blue Devils baseball team represented Duke University during the 2025 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Blue Devils played their home games at Jack Coombs Field as a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference. They were led by head baseball coach Chris Pollard, in his thirteenth year as head coach. Previous season The 2024 Duke Blue Devils team finished the 2024 NCAA Division I baseball season with a 40–20 overall record and a 16–14 record in the ACC. Duke ultimately would win the 2024 Atlantic Coast Conference baseball tournament, their first ACC tournament championship since 2021 and their second ACC title overall. Devin Obee was named the Tournament Most Outstanding Player, and catcher Alex Stone and relief pitcher, Charlie Beilenson were named to the All-Tournament Team. Chris Pollard
Chris Pollard is an American baseball coach and former pitcher, who is the head coach of the Virginia Cavaliers. He played college baseball at Davidson for head coach Dick Cooke from 1993 to 1996 before playing professionally in 1996. He then served as the head coach of the Pfeiffer Falcons (2000–2004), Appalachian State Mountaineers (2005-2012) and Duke Blue Devils (2013-2025). Playing career Pollard is from Amherst County, Virginia, and attended high school at Virginia Episcopal School and college at Davidson College and played for the Wildcats baseball team for four years. He pitched in the competitive Southern Conference, and ranks third all-time at Davidson in wins. He also ranks highly in the Davidson record books for strikeouts, appearances, starts, innings pitched, complete games and shutouts. Southlake is a city located predominantly in Tarrant County with minor areas extending into Denton County in the U.S. state of Texas. Southlake is a suburb of Dallas/Fort Worth. Urbandale, Iowa
Urbandale is a city in Polk and Dallas counties in the U.S. state of Iowa. As of the 2020 census, the city population was 45,580. It is part of the Des Moines– West Des Moines Metropolitan Statistical Area. History Urbandale was incorporated as a city on April 16, 1917. In its early days, Urbandale served as a streetcar suburb of Des Moines with four coal mines. Urbandale served as the end of the "Urbandale Line" after plans to build a railroad from Des Moines to Woodward were abandoned because of right-of-way issues. The Borough of Bellefonte is a borough in and the county seat of Centre County, Pennsylvania, United States.
