2025 Canadian Olympic Curling Trials
The 2025 Canadian Olympic Curling Trials (branded as the 2025 Montana's Canadian Curling Trials for sponsorship reasons) will be held from November 22 to 30 at the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The winners of the men's and women's events will represent Canada at the 2026 Winter Olympics. Qualification process For the first time since 2013, the Olympic Trials returned to an eight-team format with teams qualifying either through national championship berths or CTRS standings. The final spot in both fields was decided by the pre-trials event held in October. McCain Arena in Wolfville, Nova Scotia. The event will qualify one men's and one women's team for the 2025 Canadian Olympic Curling Trials in Halifax. Adam Kingsbury
Adam Kingsbury (born July 20, 1983) is a Canadian mental performance consultant from Ottawa. He was the coach of the Rachel Homan curling rink which represented Canada at the 2018 Winter Olympics. Career Kingsbury's background is not in competitive curling, though he has curled since high school, and has played in leagues at the Manotick and Ottawa Curling Clubs. He was a competitive golfer in university, where he became interested in sporting performance under pressure, conducting academic research in the sport. Kingsbury played in the Canadian University/College golf championships in 2004, where he missed a putt by six inches from just 2 ½ feet from the cup. Ryan Harnden
Ryan Harnden (born June 28, 1986) is a Canadian curler. He currently plays lead on Team Matt Dunstone. He is the former lead for the Brad Jacobs rink, with whom he represented Canada at the 2014 Winter Olympics, winning a gold medal. Career Early career Ryan joined forces with his father Eric Harnden for the 2007–08 season, as his second. The team, which also included brother E. J. and Caleb Flaxey at lead won the Dominion Northern Ontario Men's Curling Championship that season, and would represent Northern Ontario at the 2008 Tim Hortons Brier. Colton Lott
Colton Lott (born July 21, 1995) is a Canadian curler. He currently plays third on Team Matt Dunstone, and also curls with Kadriana Lott in mixed doubles. Career Juniors Lott's first curling success came with representing Manitoba at the 2011 Canada Winter Games, where he won a bronze medal, playing third for the team, which was skipped by Kyle Doering. This same team won the Manitoba Junior championship in 2012, and represented the province at the 2012 Canadian Junior Curling Championships. There, the team posted a 9-3 round robin record, won a tiebreaker, and then settled for the bronze medal, after losing to Northern Ontario in the semifinal. Corryn Brown
Corryn Cecile Brown (born July 19, 1995) is a Canadian curler from British Columbia. She currently skips her own team out of Kamloops. Career She was the skip of the winning team at the 2013 Canadian Junior Curling Championships, and represented Canada at the 2013 World Junior Curling Championships, where she placed 9th. Brown also represented Canada at the 2012 Winter Youth Olympics where she won a bronze medal. She also won a gold medal at the 2011 Canada Winter Games. Brown and her team competed once again at the 2015 Canadian Junior Curling Championships in Corner Brook, Newfoundland and Labrador, where they won the bronze medal after losing to Ontario in the semi-finals 9–4. Christina Black (born October 21, 1987) is a Canadian curler from Halifax, Nova Scotia. She currently skips her own team out of the Halifax Curling Club. Career Women's Black joined Team Mary-Anne Arsenault for the 2014–15 season at third. The team, along with second Jane Snyder and lead Jennifer Baxter, won two tour events early in the season, the Dave Jones Molson Mayflower Cashspiel and the Gibson's Cashspiel. Katherine Cameron (born October 22, 1991) is a Canadian curler from Grande Pointe, Manitoba. She currently skips her own team out of Winnipeg. Career In 2008 Cameron skipped a team to win the U16 Provincial Championship. The team included Nicole Sigvaldason, Sheyna Andries and Emily Helston. Kaitlyn Lawes
Lesley Kaitlyn Lawes (born December 16, 1988) is a Canadian curler. Lawes was the long time third for the Jennifer Jones team that represented Canada at the 2014 Winter Olympics where they won the gold medal. They were the first women's team to go through the Olympics undefeated and the first Manitoba based curling team to win at the Olympics. Lawes curled with John Morris in the mixed doubles event at the 2018 Winter Olympics where they won gold. This win made her and Morris the first Canadian curlers to win two Olympic gold medals, and Lawes was the first to win gold in two consecutive Olympics. Kayla Skrlik
Kayla Skrlik (born September 10, 1997) is a Canadian curler from Calgary, Alberta. She currently skips her own team out of the Garrison Curling Club. Career Skrlik broke onto the junior scene when she skipped Team Alberta at the 2016 U18 International Curling Championships. There, she led her team to a 3–2 round robin record, just missing the playoffs. She represented Alberta at her first junior nationals at the 2018 Canadian Junior Curling Championships. At the championship, Skrlik led her team of Ashton Skrlik, Hope Sunley and Megan Johnson to a 4–2 round robin record, enough to qualify for the championship round. The 2025 Scotties Tournament of Hearts, Canada's national women's curling championship, was held from February 14 to 23 at the Fort William Gardens in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
