2025 Canadian Country Music Association Awards
The 2025 Canadian Country Music Association Awards, honouring achievements in Canadian country music, are scheduled to be presented on September 13, 2025, at Prospera Place in Kelowna, British Columbia. For the third year in a row, they will be broadcast by CTV over its television network, website, and mobile app. The ceremony will be hosted by co-hosted by Canadian comedian and actor Tom Green. Performers will include Cameron Whitcomb, Madeline Merlo and Tyler Joe Miller, Dallas Smith with Alexandra Kay, Sacha with Restless Road, and Thelma & James. Nominees were announced on July 17. Josh Ross, Cameron Whitcomb, and Brett Kissel tied for the most nominations with six each. Prospera Place
Prospera Place, formerly known as Skyreach Place, is a 6,886-seat multi-purpose arena, in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada. It replaced Kelowna Memorial Arena, which is still in use for minor hockey. Opened in 1999, it is home to the Kelowna Rockets hockey club. The arena hosted the Memorial Cup in 2004. It was supposed to host it again in 2020, but the tournament was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Prospera Place was selected to host the 2021 Tim Hortons Brier, the Canadian men's national curling championship, but due to COVID-19 restrictions the Brier took place in Calgary instead. In October 2023, Curling Canada selected Kelowna to host the 2025 Montana's Brier. High Valley is a Canadian country and bluegrass band originally from Blumenort, Alberta, a small community near the hamlet of La Crete. The group is composed of Brad Rempel (lead vocals) and his supporting band, Dave Myers (bass guitar), Raymond Klassen (Dobro), Clint Milburn (guitar), and Andrew Hemmerling (drums). ''Golden Child'' is the fourth studio album by Canadian-American country music artist Meghan Patrick. It was released on October 11, 2024, through Riser House. The album's title track was released as its lead single on September 6, 2024, and became her first solo charting single in the United States.
