2025 ATX Open
The 2025 ATX Open was a tournament for female professional tennis players played on outdoor hard courts. It was the third edition of the event, a WTA 250 tournament on the 2025 WTA Tour. WTA 250 Tournaments
WTA 250 is a category of tennis tournaments in the Women's Tennis Association tour, implemented since the reorganization of the schedule in 2021. Earlier these events were classified as WTA International tournaments, WTA International Tournaments. At their introduction in 2021, WTA 250 tournaments' prize money was approximately $250,000. As of 2025 WTA Tour, 2025 season, this has risen to $275,094. The ranking points awarded to the winners of these tournaments are 250. This compares to 2,000 points for winning a Grand Slam (tennis), Grand Slam tournament ("Major"), up to 1,500 points for winning the WTA Finals, 1000 points for winning a WTA 1000 tournament, and 500 for winning a WTA 500 tournament. Wild Card (sports)
A wild card (also wildcard or wild-card and also known as an at-large berth or at-large bid) is an invitation to a tournament or a playoff berth awarded to a team or individual that does not qualify via an automatic bid. In some events, wildcards are chosen freely by the organizers. Other events have fixed rules. Some North American professional sports leagues compare the records of teams which did not qualify directly by winning a division or conference. Lucia Bronzetti
Lucia Bronzetti (born 10 December 1998) is an Italian professional tennis player. She has career-high WTA rankings of No. 46 in singles and No. 194 in doubles. She has played three finals and won one singles title on the WTA Tour, at the 2023 Morocco Open, and has also reached nine singles finals on the ITF Women's Circuit, of which she won five. Bronzetti was a member of the Italian squad which won the 2024 Billie Jean King Cup. Early life Bronzetti was born in Rimini and grew up in Verucchio. Viktorija Golubic
Viktorija Golubic (; ; born 16 October 1992) is a Swiss professional tennis player. On 28 February 2022, she reached her career-high singles WTA ranking of No. 35. On 17 April 2023, she peaked at No. 61 in the doubles rankings. She is the current No. 2 Swiss player. Wei Sijia (born 3 December 2003) is a Chinese tennis player. She has a career-high WTA singles ranking of world No. 114, achieved on 31 March 2025 and a doubles ranking of No. 257, attained on the 17 July 2023. Professional career 2022: First tournament wins After not playing on the ITF World Tennis Tour in 2021, Wei began 2022 competing in qualifying draws at the $15k level. is an American-born Japanese professional tennis player who specializes in doubles. She reached her career-high rankings of world No. 4 in doubles and No. 119 in singles.
