2025 AFL Draft
The 2025 AFL draft will consist of the various periods where the 18 clubs in the Australian Football League (AFL) can trade and recruit players during and following the completion of the 2025 AFL season. Key dates 2025 mid-season rookie draft The mid-season draft was be held after the conclusion of round 11 of the 2025 AFL season on 28 May. The draft is only open to clubs with inactive players on their list and vacancies available, such as long-term injuries or retirements. As Gold Coast Suns and Essendon had played one fewer game than all other clubs, the draft order was determined using winning percentage. Glenelg Football Club
The Glenelg Football Club, nicknamed the Tigers or the Bays, is an Australian rules football team which plays in the South Australian National Football League. Their home ground is Stratarama Stadium (formerly Glenelg Oval), located in the southern coastal suburb of Glenelg East, South Australia. Club history The inaugural meeting of the Glenelg Football Club was held at the Glenelg Town Hall on Wednesday 10 March 1920, to form a club for players west of South Road to play in the B Grade. It was decided that the club colors would be red, yellow and black with white knickers. Jake Waterman (born 6 May 1998) is a professional Australian rules footballer playing for the West Coast Eagles in the Australian Football League (AFL). Jake is the son of dual West Coast Premiership defender Chris Waterman, and brother of former forward Alec Waterman. Norwood Football Club
The Norwood Football Club, nicknamed the Redlegs, is an Australian rules football club competing in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL). Reef McInnes (born 12 December 2002) is a professional Australian rules footballer playing for the Collingwood Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Junior and State Football As a junior McInnes played for YJFL clubs Canterbury Cobras and Surrey Park Panthers. He became a member of Collingwood’s Next Generation Academy program, due to his mother being born in the Philippines. Charlie Ballard
Charlie Ballard (born 23 July 1999) is a professional Australian rules footballer playing for the Gold Coast Suns in the Australian Football League (AFL). Early life Charlie participated in the Auskick program at Mitcham, South Australia. Ballard played in their under-18 premiership for the Sturt Football Club in the SANFL as well as for Sacred Heart College. Sam Draper (born 28 September 1998) is an Australian rules footballer who plays for the Essendon Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was recruited with the 1st draft pick in the 2017 AFL rookie draft. The West Australian Football League (WAFL "waffle" or "W-A-F-L") is an Australian rules football league based in Perth, Western Australia. The Peel Thunder Football Club is an Australian rules football club playing in the West Australian Football League (WAFL) and WAFL Women's (WAFLW).
